The story:

Musakhan is a proud national dish of Palestine. Initially, it was found unintentionally. At the beginning, people cooked bread and meat in Arabic baladi stove. Eventually, other ingredients were cooked at the stove one by one and later simultaneously. The purpose was to create a pleasing cuisine from available ingredients at that time. One day couple of spices, chicken and bread were placed together. Voila, Musakhan was born.  Musakhan means “something that is heated or warmed” which is a reference to the its ingredients that are put together and then heated up together.
