The story:

An Italian cuisine originated from eastern Abruzzo region. This is a variation of Spaghetti mixed with olive oil, garlic and red chillies. Due to the lack of ingredients - clams and white wines, people couldn’t afford the high cost of these ingredients. They just ate spaghetti with just olive oil. The olive oil was locally produced in the region by Campanian farmers. It’s cheap and readily available to get. Garlic and red chillies were added at a later time. At the beginning, it was considered a peasant food and now it becomes popular food worldwide.
